My First Deliverable

So I started rewriting my first deliverable, and what can I say… Well i can mention I had writers block, I can mention it wasn’t very good. But with a little help from my supervisors I will attempt again.

I honestly believe this must be the difficult part of doing research, starting… You feel clueless and unsure that what you have come to believe is the truth or even sufficient for a first deliverable.

So yes I can rant about how I have no inspiration for the first deliverable, because of the ever present cloud that is blocking my thought a patterns and imagination from regurgitating words of wisdom that make sense, even if its only to myself. Or alternatively I can man up and persist till I have something I believe is worth while submitting, which in my mind would never work… because is anyone ever really satisfied with their deliverables? My personal opinion is that if you are, you probably shouldn’t be in a profession that requires constant improvement.

Master in Computer Science. A worthwhile hobby?

So I have decided to do my masters in computer science researching enterprise architecture. I once read an article that explained howw to become an expert in the field of computer science. This was about 3 years ago so forgive me for not putting a link to the original article. The one piece of advise was to make you masters degree your ‘hobby’.

I will update this blog monthly going through my registration to my completion.

So starting out I have found a supervisor and submitted my registration forms. Now to see if i get accepted. This is either going to be a short series for this blog ( if my application gets rejected ) or a long one (2 years).
